Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been intrigued by boats and ferries. The repetition of patterns and the spontaneity of waves have provided me with refuge that is indescribable. These medium format film photographs and 35mm film photographs are a moment of calmness amongst the very loud crowds on the boats. In some of the images, passengers become the heroin of their story. In others, a crowded moment become silenced.
